Kings Head House is an AA Rated 4 star bed & breakfast located in rural Oxfordshire in the picturesque village of Wootton. Stone built around 1720 and converted from a village inn to a private house, this listed building has been sensitively modernised to offer the perfect blend of old world charm and modern living.

Tucked away from the main thoroughfare and nestling in a backwater of Wootton the house abounds in peace and tranquility, yet is only 2 miles from Woodstock and an easy drive to Oxford, Stratford and the Cotsworlds. We are ideally situated for exploring historic Oxfordshire and its neighbouring counties.

Directions from the South

From M40 northbound exit at Junction 9. Follow A34 towards Oxford for approximately two miles and exit at B4027 signposted Islip. At junction follow signs to Wootton. When approaching the village follow sign to village centre, then turn right and immediately left after the church. Kings Head House is on the left hand side.

From A34 Northbound - exit at B4027 for Bletchington and Islip. Follow above directions.

From A44 Northbound turn right opposite Judds Garage to Wootton. On approaching the church bear left and left again. Kings Head House is on the left.

From M40 southbound exit at Junction 9 and follow above directions.

From A44 southbound turn left opposite Judds Garage (Ignore all previous signs to Wootton). On approaching the church bear left and left again. Kings Head House is on the left.
